From the Vault: Adventure Comics 309




       The comic opens with the Legion of Super-heroes at School. This includes members away from school on missions. Saturn Girl informs us that Shrinking Violet on planet Xolnar and Superboy is back in his own time. Brainiac 5 then points out all the Legion members accounted for and it is time to scree new applicants.
       Sun Boy tells Rainbow Girl that she is rejected. However, he gives her a fly belt. Coming in after is Jungle King with a creature called a Borlat. We learn that he can control animals thanks to his farther and special rays. Suddenly the Borlat starts to charge him as he has stopped controlling it to tell his story. Sun boy is forced to daze it with his power. Because of this Jungle King is rejected and he leaves in a angry huff.

     The comic starts on a asteroid mine in the 31st century. Cosmic Boy, Chemical Kid and Element Lad are fighting and Chemical Kid watching Cosmic Boy launching an attack says.  WHY are we doing this, exactly? Cosmic Boy to this says. Because it needs doing, Hardu.

From the Vault: Adventure Comics 308




         The comic open up with the Legion of Superheroes looking at their new Legion flag and wishing Lighting Lad could have seen it. Saturn Girls at a meting states that her and Mon-EL are going off planet to investigate destructive Space Fungus. She then asks one of the other members to place their new flag over Lighting Lad's coffin. Later they go to the crypt and place the flag on the coffin Bouncing Boy notices that Lighting Lad twitched his arm. Cosmic Boy says he must be dreaming it. However, Sun boy who is also their says the same thing and they open the coffin.

Legion Lost #13




        The Comic Starts with the narrator stating. In a distant Solar System-- The fifth planet of an unnamed star brims with intelligent life. Over the course of nearly four billion years, the UTARI evolved from a single-cell organism-- to a race of TOOL-MARKERS, HORTICULTURALISTS and BUILDERS. Given enough time, they would eventually develop RADIO- And perhaps, even SPACE TRAVEL. Unfortunately, Time ENDS for the Utari-- In a single searing MOMENT.
